How do I become a Texas
Real Estate Sales Agent?

It's exciting to start out on a new career and we want you to know where that journey will take you.  Still have questions?  Contact us and we'll get you answers!  We're a convenient online school with working real estate brokers, real estate sales agents and other professionals in the real estate field as your teachers and advisors.

Step 1

Your first step is to decide which state you’d like to work in.  If you’re here, you’re looking at information on being licensed in Texas.

Step 2

The next step is to select a TREC-licensed Real Estate School for your training.  We hope you’ll choose us!

Step 3

In real estate school, you’ll complete six required courses with a proctored or supervised exam at the end of each one.

Step 4

Next, you’re ready to study for your Texas Real Estate Sales Agent exam and your National Real Estate Exam.

Step 5

When you feel comfortable with your studies, you’ll take the state and national Sales Agent exams.

Step 6

With a passing score on both your exams and the TREC requirements completed, you’re ready to select your broker and begin your career!
